Carl's Walk

From a brochure by the city:

The trail begins at State Street across from Northside High School.  The trail follows along the St. Joseph River, which is adjacent to St. Joseph Boulevard at this point.  The trail stops at the confluence.  If you so desire, you can cross St. Joseph Boulevard and pick up the trail along the Maumee River at the intersection of Edgewater and Columbia Avenues or you can cross at the Tennessee Avenue Bridge and pick up other sections of the trail.  If you decide to continue along the Maumee, the trail meanders along the river.  A commemorative plaque explains why this section of trail is dedicated to Carl O'Neal.  Carefully cross Anthony Boulevard.  The City's section of Rivergreenway officially ends at Pemberton Avenue and the County's section of the trail begins and continues to Coliseum Boulevard.  From this point, the County's section is temporarily closed until just east of Lakeside Golf Course.  The trail then continues to the county's boat landing on North River Road across from Kreager Park.
