Colerick Hall
In 1861 it was remodeled into an opera house
and was used
for recruiting and public meetings during the Civil War.
Many famous people spoke or acted here: Laura Keene,
Bret Harte, Horace Greeley, Thomas Hendricks, Levi Morton,
William Cody, Andrew Johnson, and Tom Thumb. |
